Imagine embarking on a meaningful journey in which you guide students in developing their IT skills. Does this appeal to you? Perhaps you are not yet a lecturer, but you cherish the desire to become one. In that case, we may be looking for you.

Are you a talented software engineer or a passionate IT professional with a clear calling for education? With us, you will have the opportunity to combine your passion with the development of young minds. You will not only focus on their technical growth, but also on their personal development.

We challenge you to guide them through real-life situations, so that they not just learn, but also become inspired. Your coaching skills and ability to captivate them make you a valuable mentor.

Are you ready to help us grow? Together, we can broaden horizons and shape the future of (young) IT professionals. Join us and make your mark in a world where IT skills and education come together.

Your role in our ICT team for the bachelor’s programme
Due to various personnel developments within our programme, we are looking for new members to join our team. In addition, the market also requires us to continue developing ourselves  in order to prepare students for a world in transition. For example, we are working with the Data Science research group to develop a master's programme and a part-time ICT bachelor’s programme. The newly opened Joint Research Centre Zeeland requires us to adapt our education to the possibilities of our state-of-the-art Data Science lab. And that's not all, because cloud computing, microservices and design thinking are also attracting our attention. In short, we are looking for an enthusiastic digital inspirer who is not afraid to delve into new developments and wants to master the art of teaching. If you are already a lecturer or have been a lecturer in the past, please feel free to apply!

You will enjoy doing this
  • Teaching and developing
  • Contributing to student development
  • Inspiring students and our environment
  • Working on projects
  • Organising
  • Translating innovation into applications for HZ.
The team
You will be joining a young and dynamic team. We strive to be an inclusive team where everyone can develop. We have a diverse international group of colleagues, as we also offer an international version of our programme. Our working language is therefore English. Openness, trust and courage are the words that characterise our team and which we have chosen together in a team development process. When you join our team, we expect you to actively contribute to this process.

Are you the right fit?
Do you recognise yourself as an IT professional with an affinity for AI and Data Science, but also for dealing with people? Are you keen to delve into developments such as ChatGPT and introduce them as innovations in education? Do you have skills such as planning, organising and good communication skills? If you also have the skills listed below, then we can talk:
  • A completed university or higher professional education master's degree in IT
  • Work experience in Data Science and Software Engineering
  • Organisational skills
  • Coaching skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English

Grow with us
We believe that future-proof education starts with our employees. That is why, in addition to a lively working environment, we also offer you:
